    About Me

Andrew got his start in the game like many at an early age by his mother and father (Jane and James Johnson). His love for the game and desire to be a tour professional was evident immediately. Andrew played his way through the junior ranks in Indiana racking up accomplishments, and completed his college golf career at Ball State University with Academic All-American honors. Andrew has been around the game more than 40 years and self-professed tinkerer could seemingly turn everyday items into training aids in the pursuit of consistency, and a trusted golf swing when it mattered most.

In his 15 year career in professional golf Andrew has played numerous tours all over the world, including the Canadian Tour, South American Tour, European Tour, and Web.com Tour. The peak of his playing career was a win on the Web.com Tour at the 2005 Cleveland Open.

Andrew’s common sense approach to the game is based on solid mechanics first, and using what you have to the best of your ability whether you’re PGA Tour level or amateur level. After spending most of his own professional career searching for the perfect swing he realized in hindsight that he accomplished it many times, but without ever having a baseline in place long term gains and success were hit and miss. He uses what he calls the base line method that is established over time with any particular golfer of any level. He uses the golfer’s swing when he or she is playing their best as the baseline. Once established, this baseline swing is used to keep each player in their lane and playing their best more often. “I am not really in to fitting a player into a swing or static positions, I let the players ability and needs dictate the direction of the instruction.”
